I've been using that as my email address for quite some time. You know that point when you're signing up for an email address and you get the message back "that user name is taken"? As only one of what I assume are countless David Fisher's every email address I chose was taken by another David Fisher. So I decided to outsmart them all.
David Fisher is an author. He is a writer. He is a veterinarian. He is a farmer. He is an accountant who stole money from his clients. But that's not me. I am David Fisher, Art Director and Graphic Designer. That photo is me after the surgery I had at the insistence of the witness protection people.
I've been doing this for (pausing to count...) WOW. Has it really been 25 years?! Yes. I guess it has. And I still love it. Some of my work is sexy and fun. Some is dry and workman-like. But every client is important and maybe that's why they've been with me for so long. I hope they feel like my one-and-only.
